That is a pic of the Beaufort, SC Waterfest last weekend. Open to the public, which means everyone ................ of any skin color.
As I said, I prefer the sandbars on the river, and we have blacks come there. They are welcome, as is any race, as long as they treat the women and girls like ladies and watch their language in front of the small children. We work together, we play together. Just because you don't see any doesn't mean that they were somehow rejected. Should they have been made to go where they didn't want to be?
What you won't see at the sandbars are leftist, socialist liberal freeloaders. Not that we wouldn't allow them there, they just wouldn't feel very welcome I don't think. They'd rather hang out on forums like this, in anonymity. Like you. But, what I will do is get the latitude and longitude coordinates next time I'm there, with my handheld GPS unit. Then, I will post them here for you. You have a standing invitation to come for a visit any summer Saturday or Sunday afternoon, and check it out for yourself. Put your boat in at the Burton's Ferry landing on the GA side of the Savannah River, on US 301. Go upstream (that's against the current) until you reach the coordinates I post. Start a conversation about politics there, saying the things you say here. We'd really like to have you.

SRH Pardon my confusion Stan, but it is understandable considering the segregationist past of the South and how many newly integrated activities and areas got around intergration with private clubs. I guess no black people wanted to go the the river the hot southern day that pic was taken. And kudos to you and the other beach goers for your enlightened position that all blacks and races are welcome so long as they treat women and girls like ladies and maintain respectful language. Considering all the flags, I guess Trump would get a pass for regaling the ladies on how easy it is for him to grab their pussies. I guess that's how you guys treat women and girls like ladies.

Your confusion is understandable for liberals as biased against Southern conservatives as you are. Knee jerk reactions are the norm.
I edited my earlier post to add an invitation. Please don't overlook it.

Sure, I'll be along to chat it up with you guys. Just be sure to have a dictionary on hand in case you need to look up a definition or two... we don't want anything to be lost in translation. Edited to add, for Stan's benefit, the presumption that Blacks are not going to treat the women and girls like ladies and use disrespectful language is...racist. Not saying that doesn't happen, just that it transcends all races. Like when this guy bragged about how he treated women... https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/oct/07/donald-trump-leaked-recording-women

The upper Midwest (my area of origin) is the area of the US with the most black/white segregation. In my experience todays Southerners are very low on the racism spectrum. Southern states are where blacks are currently doing the best economically.

Sure, I'll be along to chat it up with you guys... Having spent considerable time in the south I can tell you that its bad form for a stranger to jump right into a political discussion. Start with an ice breaker. I suggest William T. Sherman. ___________________________ Damn Yankee Lad. https://youtu.be/-9fdwMZXcAY

Edited to add, for Stan's benefit, the presumption that Blacks are not going to treat the women and girls like ladies and use disrespectful language is...racist. See, that's exactly what I was talking about. There was, and is, no presumption that blacks will do that anymore than whites. We have had instances where whites have disrespected the women, and been inconsiderate of small children, and paid for it. One white guy was backed out into the river to the point that only his face was above water. A couple of his buddies came to his rescue in a boat and got him out of there. I've never seen a black person misbehave at the river. Not saying it can't happen, we just don't expect it. But, as I tried to be clear about earlier, we don't tolerate it from anyone. Play your race card somewhere else, where it might apply. Your eagerness to find a racist behind every bush will be sooo not welcome when you come to visit. SRH

Some very wise observer of the social scene once commented that "American Black men will never rise to the achievement that American White men have attained until they begin to respect Women- all women,, white, black, tan, red, beige, whatever.
What has turned our Northern big cities into drug and crime cesspools has been, for the most part, violent crime based on the soul-robbing sell out of your conscience to get drugs- by any means-- When you are black and raised on the welfare programs enacted by ignorant politicians, and you do not know who, of many men in the home, who your father is, and even if you did, would he take you to a ball game, sponsor you in school events, athletics, etc-- what role model do you have in your formative years??
It bothers me greatly to see some posters demeaning our Southern based membership- in a bit of a "Jeff Foxworthy/Larry The Cable Guy" scenario. This is NOT the America that thousands of brave Americans died to preserve in WW2 and Korea-- RWTF

I know its hard for you to see, but you did put a prerequisite of their being well behaved to be welcome and as you wrote it, singled out African Americans.
