So, in the same spirit I hereby offer $100 for any old H&H, Purdey, Boss, or any other English assault shotgun. No questions asked, just paying in cash.

The phraseology of the government "buying back" certain firearms from American citizens rubs me wrong. None of us ever bought any ARs, AKs or handguns from the government, so they cannot buy them back. It is a mandatory confiscation they want, and no less.

Part and parcel of the left's twisting of words and phrases to attempt to disguise the truth. Call a spade a spade.

What is even worse is the FACT that we have guys like rocky mtn bill, King, nca225, and other supporters of anti-gun Democrats who want to allow the anti-gunners to ban or take away YOUR GUNS and YOUR GUN RIGHTS.

It is time to reject these back-stabbers and put them in their place. And their place is certainly not hiding within our ranks where they can undermine us more easily. Embracing and accepting these guys is about as smart as hiring a known pedophile to babysit your kids.

A hundred bucks???? Get serious. What they're doing is giving what amounts to drug money for someone to swipe their brother's or sister's, son's or daughter's illegal handgun. It accomplishes nothing at all except to pit friends and family members against each other..... and may even contribute to more violent crime between those people.

Agree with you 100% Stan= none of my guns were purchased from any branch of the US Gov't-- the same Uncle Sam I served as a member of the USMC. I do have a NM Garand that came from the CMP program, that's the closest I can figure to this current concept of our Uncle Samuel giving us top dollar for all our - as Beto O'Rourke phrases it- "battlefield weapons used to kill civilians"-- guess a Garand is/was a "battlefield weapon" as was the Springfield 1903 (or variants of same)- so- where do we draw the line.

How can the BATFE Gestapo determine what and whose firearms they are going to seize- as did Hitler in 1935-1945 era. This idiot from TX scares me- he is a outright zealot who would trample the Constitution until Hell won't have it-- in his blinded hatred of legitimate gun owners, like you, me, 90% or more of the rational members of this forum-- But one bright side-- his blatant rant of "Hell yes, we're going to take your assault rifle is the best new member recruiting slogan the NRA could even want-- first step in defeating your enemy- first- know your enemy- inside and out.

Sorta breaks my heart to see O-Rourke is from Texas though- he'd be a better fit if he was from Kalifornia-- RWTF
