More pictures and spects? That's a very nice gun, what we can see of it. What sort of barrels and weight is it? More pictures would be nice, if you could.

Looks like a 701 maybe 702 with some custom checkering added to the wrist. If the forend has shoulders it’s a 701.

This is to all appearences a 702 with a custom stock and forend wood .At the time W & S made numerous guns to customer order that were variations on the standared models. Definately not a 701 or 700 .

Also that 16 bore is a 20 bore! Crawford & Whatley's book on Scotts shows it as 1967. It looks like a Model 720 which was made especially for the U.S. market but would have to fall in the number sequence 720000 to 720229. I have to agree wholeheartedly with Gunman in that it is either a special order gun or one restocked when it got Stateside. Lagopus…..

I'd say it's a restocked 702. Appears to be a nice job for someone who's a fan of beavertails. Result is a gun that's maybe half a pound heavier than a standard 702 (or 720).
