Finding myself in this forced period of a 'time out', lasting neigh on six weeks at present, that I can't consort w/my regular buds, friend's & acquaintances at my home gun club or others that I belong to or might travel to or frequent during the off season to shoot, I find myself reflecting on the amount of genuinely good information that has been made available thru the past some odd years right here on the Doublegun BBS, from the old board to the present. Honestly, its quite a compendium. Sadly, not all are with us any longer, but many selflessly added much, while they were at the table as participants. And there are still many who continue to do so. Thank you, gentlemen.

In the same bubble of thot, I realize that my expenditures for blastinating clays, shooting, helice, poking holes in paper w/instruments that are not double guns, travel, hotels, dining out, &c. are nil!

And so.. it might be a good time to either get aboard or pony up a bit extra to be sure this fine wealth of knowledge known as the Doublegun Shop dot com continues to be viable. Just a thot.

There are costs associated w/its continued existence. I've no issue w/supporting that. I'd hope you'd not either.

Interesting take. Not sure what percentage will have such consumed interest in doubleguns, drillings, etc. along with street rods, bikes, etc., but Dietrich Apel's platform in my opinion is the only avenue / conduit to preserve such info:

http://www.germanhuntingguns.com/

Larry B. Schuknecht makes an unparalleled effort in an attempt to preseve said weapons history / thinktank / database. And all @ 0(ZERO) cost to the reader.

Cheers,
