Hi, looking for information. Had a dear friend pass away. His wife is wanting to sell a couple of guns. I told her to wait until we could find out what they are and what they are worth. I didn't want her to get taken advantage of. The first is a Browning BSS made in Japan. She said he shot it once and went back to his old shotgun to carry on hunts. "This one was too nice". It has one scratch in the finish.
Hmmm... attaching images is not that easy. I don't have a web address for the pictures on my computer. I guess I need help there first...

Don't know if that helped, I've seen other "Photobucket" links before, so I tried to create one...

You might want to fact check those chokes fellas.
I don't believe Browning ever choked a BSS Skt 1 and Skt 2
26" 12 gauge BSS's were generally choked Mod/IC, **/**-

it would be interesting to know the actual differences in the bore diameters and choke diameters for this fine gun...

26" barrels usually meant IC/M which is the most useful choke configuration. The gun has the single non-select trigger, though.
