Can the Greek military trigger and trigger guard replace the DST and separate TG on a Model 1924? If so, does anyone out there have the milsurp parts?

The Military trigger and sear parts and the trigger guard itself will replace the commercial DST unit on a 1903,05,08 and 1910.
What I am not sure of is wether the Model 1924 is any different from the above 4 earlier commercial Models as far as dimensions in the trigger area.
(I don't think so, but that's just a guess, don't take it to the bank! AFAIK the 1924 was just a longer action to accept the 3006 and similar rds)

The commercial rifles use a shotgun triggerguard w/tang and that tang inlet will still be left open & unfilled with use of the Military triggerguard on any of them.

The rear tang screw on the military guard lines right up just like the rear guard screw in the DST mechanism housing, and also uses a the same undercut 'lip' in the front to attach it to the frame behind the rotary magazine.

I have to put the Military T/G and single trigger parts onto a 1903 commercial bbl'd action I have as the DST's were missing from the parts when I found the bunch.

I bought the parts from a small parts dealer that made the rounds at local shows a few years back...Here's the contact info I had for them:

I don't even know what their status is now with Covid going on. Worth a call.

Here's another ph# w/an Email. Maybe this is more up-to-date.
Address: 198 Liberty Valley Rd, Danville, PA 17821

I see Numrich lists the trigger assembly 'In Stock' but the trigger guard for the single trigger 'Out of Stock' ($39).

Sarco shows the triggerguard as in stock and only $10,,but the pic of the sample has the bow slightly bent!

Only curious Bill, is the original trigger and guard beyond hope? The double set trigger seems to be appropriate, as far as appearances, for that express sight, integral claw mount barreled action? I can recall seeing a 24 at one of the shows a couple of years back, turned the rifle over and it was more of a barreled action project than a rifle.

I had a Model 24 8x60 Mag back in the day. IIRC I came up with some RWS or Norma nickel plated bullet factory loads that were pretty spicy and shot to point of aim at 100 yards using the iron sights since the claw mounts were long gone.Nice rifle...it had double sets.

Craig, the original DSTs and the guard are in fine shape. What I'm setting out to do is to restock this rifle in Daniel Fraser style The original stock with peep sight at the wrist, trap butt plate, triggers and guard will go toward financing the project.
