I purchased a larger piece of pig skin. However it's too thick to cover pads. Is there anyone or a place to have it skived thin enough to use?

You can find skiving tools on Amazon and EBay if your project is small and are willing to do it yourself. Otherwise there are several companies you could contact off the web. Garrett leather did a hide for a friend but that was cow not pig. I’d contact them and see if they will do it for a small fee. Other option is to see if you have a shoe repair shop or harness shop near you.
