This has been seen before, LCS 12GA....shooting bismuth I think.

Just tossing it out there, still of the mind that harder shot does NOT have to be the death knell it is made out to be though. Lots of details in the mix these days.

Doug, if your friend is interested I have a set of 20 ga SW BBls 28" #3 weight S/N 258453. these were in a gunshop fire so most of the solder has melted out between the bbls, ribs top and bottom are missing. but they could work out. never know.

Maybe he could find one of those in the white 20 gauge savage made barrels that were around a few years back....I remember that one of the local gunsmiths picked one up for a custom project he was doing...had to be at least 3-5 years ago..
