I apologize if I’m bringing up a dreaded topic but I recently purchased a gentleman’s collection of skb sxs shotguns. I’m going to sell a few but keep most. One that I’d like to keep is a nice 200e in 20 ga with 25” barrels choked ic/mod. At some point someone refinished the wood with a high gloss finish which has aged poorly and shows several superficial scratches in the finish. I’d like to have the wood refinished. I’m not looking for a show piece, primarily just want to pretty up a gun I plan to hunt since it’s already been “messed with”. I’d also like to have some glass bedding applied between the receiver tang and wood to prevent future possible cracks. Do you gentlemen have a preferred contact for this sort of work? I know many undertake this type of project on their own but I’m just not confident enough to dive in to this operation yet. Thanks!
