Researcher, Steve Lamboy had plans to manufacture the Mag Ten and was working on a prototype. Apparently, making the barrels was a bit in the future, so he used the barrels from another Mag Ten, apparently yours, to fit to his prototype. I don't know whether he ever finished the gun, but obviously never marketed the gun.

No to get off topic but I've had and used my mag 10 since 2001. Best use to date is pass shooting sandhill cranes. Best shot to date has been a dead in the air 75 +/- yds. Handloaded bismuth 2's, 1 7/8 oz. Nothing else I have ever owned comes close to its ranging power.
