I can’t load photos on this forum, so I’m attaching a link to my thread on another forum.

I looked at the photos on the other site and disagree with the poster who stated that the "10C in a diamond" and the "choke" marks are Belgian. These marks were used by the Birmingham Proof House beginning in 1887 and, from what I see, all of the marks on the gun are Birmingham proof marks.

I have no information regarding whether this Albert Greener was related to WW Greener.

If Albert Greener was the son of WW and struck out on his own, I don't see why WW Greener would have any records related to him. Given the original quality of the gun, I don't think it would have been expensive even when brand new. It is a fairly simple hammer gun without a lot of what are generally recognized as high end features. It has also apparently lived a very hard life as well. Just enjoy it as you are.

Thanks for all the replies, just one more question, is this type of unlocking action called an underlug, side lock, or something else?

Albert Greener was a manufacturer of bicycles. Some of Greener's gun books contained advertisement for same.
