Stan & Mike,
I've attended my Granddaughter's Veteran's program as well at her school, and my observances were the same as yours. I appreciated their program and respect.

shortens

My close friend, Lt. Donald Adamson, USA 7th Air/Cav was Kia in the Pleiku sector 15 Feb 1966. His name is 5 panels East and 63 Lines down on "The Wall".. I thought about both of them this AM when I performed "Colors" at 0800 Hrs.. I thought about all the brave and selfless men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice so that you and I can live free. My barracks were right across the road from the 82nd Airborne Museum when the 325 Inf moved there in 71/72. We enjoyed working there when on "special duty"! What a wonderful display of a super unit, I am very proud that I was an Airborne Trooper and encourage a visit to Ft Bragg and the Museum.
