For sale here. Believe I could safely shoot these out of 2 1/2" chambers.

Independent testing when the load was first released, when it was 15/16 oz. reported 6,200 psi.
I tried the load, and it was so slow I needed quite a bit more lead at skeet target distances. Trap was hopeless.

I found that the 980 Fps velocity on these shells to be almost too anemic for any practical purpose. They are light recoiling though.

Well, I ordered a flat. Will give them a try. Scarcity breeds desperation. Still feel ok shooting the Federals out of the Frenchie.

Don't shoot it on a windy day. My son shot a box at backyard targets and only broke a couple birds. Switched to my low pressure reloads and he started crushing them.

I bought several boxes at Walmart today! I have not seen these in many years. When my Daughter was just starting out she used these. They worked good enough to be high youth shooter beating several boys!

They don’t work well in newer guns with backbored barrels. That said, in the typically tight 18-18.2mm French guns that have been around the place, I couldn’t tell much of a difference at trap and skeet range.

I would further suggest that on wild pheasants, you consider something else. Don’t ask me how I know that.

Best,
Ted

21 gramme (about 7/8 oz) is a popular and widely available budget clays load in the UK.

The 12G loads I use (Hull Cartridge Company - CompX 21g) are 21g shot size 7 1/2 and in a 2 1/2" case with fibre wads. Velocity (claimed by manufacturer) is 1425 (which I presume is feet per second).

I have no idea on pressure as it is never quoted or mentioned in the UK. All commercial loads have to be CIP compliant and that's all there is to it.

I would not use them on live quarry (for one thing they are only available in shot sizes 7 1/2 and 9), but that is not what they are intended for.
