To me, it looks like a Belgian Gesteck, parts-kit, that was finished in Germany. That odd Anson & Deeley Body Action reminds me of a few early Charles Dalys / H.A. Lindners as well as the H. Pieper platforms that Canvas-back collects. Typically a 12 bore will actually be a 13 bore as the Germans finished more 16s and didn't stroke the 12 bore tubes an additional amount out to a true 12 bore. So, some mechanic spent a little more time on it. Also, look at the preliminary German proofs on the tubes as they are mismatched in space or position. I don't think a ADHD German tube mechanic could tolerate such to leave his shop??
