Do the W&S records include all the guns they made for other firms to finish?
In 2016 I emailed Gallyon about a W.C. Scott boxlock shipped to Frank Malin. Richard Gallyon replied and stated the gun was a standard model shipped partially finished in March 1983, with the receiver and barrels 'in the white', and had 2 3/4" chambers. That was the sum total of the information Gallyon had on the gun. It looks like details may be scarce on guns made for others, but at least I was able to confirm a few of the basics.
