I looked at www.gallyon.com.

I see no mention of Richard Gallyon, nor do I see an address in Norfolk i see Cambridgeshire, nor do I see any mention of records for Webley and Scott.

So I guess I am wondering is this the right place for my request....????????

Well just google `Richard Gallyon` there seems to be a plethora of info about him. You have PM too.

Unfortunately, Gallyon's only has records for shotguns, I am looking to find out about a double rifle...........any different info on where I may find this...?

I went directly to the records holder of H. Atkin which was the the gun finisher for my W&S gun. Gil

In 2016 I emailed Gallyon about a W.C. Scott boxlock shipped to Frank Malin. Richard Gallyon replied and stated the gun was a standard model shipped partially finished in March 1983, with the receiver and barrels 'in the white', and had 2 3/4" chambers. That was the sum total of the information Gallyon had on the gun. It looks like details may be scarce on guns made for others, but at least I was able to confirm a few of the basics.

I have a W&C Scott&Son with serial number 59XXX and, unfortunately, they told me that the record do not go that far back.
