Looking for low pressure 2.5" 16 gauge ammo for skeet, so I need something moving around 1150 - 1200 fps. RST doesn't have anything that fast. I've tried Ammoseek and a quick search doesn't return anything actually available.

Good luck with your hunt and be prepared to pay a premium price if & when you find something.
I love sixteens but never set-up to reload for it. After everything that's happened in the past three years with ammunition availability & costs of 16ga when you do find something. I decided to take matters into my own hands & got set-up to reload the gauge so I had some control over what loads I'm shooting along with not having to hunt for ammo when I need it.
Chasing down the components was a PITA but I'm now set-up for feeding my 16ga guns the rest of my life. Like I said earlier, Good luck, but you might consider going the handloading route as long as you're on the hunt anyway.

RST sells them but expect to pay 200 per flat and they aren't as fast as you want. Is the difference of 1125 fps vs 1150 that critical to your needs? Gil

I agree that the RST shells will get the job done. At the close range on the skeet field the slightly lower speed won't make any difference and you will definitely notice the difference in recoil shooting a light double gun. I agree that you should get set up to load your own so you can have what you need. Is your gun chambered for 2 1/2" or just shorter than 23/4"? There are a few shells sold as 2 3/4 when they are actually 2 5?8 when empty hulls are measured.

The gun is a 1878 W&C Scott hammer gun with Damascus barrels. The flats on the barrel state a 2.5" length and there is nothing to suggest the gun had the chamber lengthened. The gunsmith stated the barrels minimums are 40 thousandth.
While I am set up to load 2.5" on a Lee Load All, for this gun and a couple other difficult/impossible to replace guns I prefer to use RST or an equivalent. I don't expect to do any high volume shooting with the gun. And yes, I'm probably being far more careful than I need to be.

Are you looking for black powder shells, or is gun proved for smokeless?

I was hoping to find something a little faster, but there aren't a lot of options for low pressure 2.5" shells right now. Ordered a case

Per my measurements, the new Herters and the Winchester Game Loads (which use the same hull, only difference is the color) measure 2 5/8" when fired.
