I have for sale a beautiful little Grulla 217RB with the RB standing for round body which is my favorite receiver to hunt with, keeping sharp corners of the receiver from digging into your forearm where you carry the gun. This is in the very versatile 16 gauge and features 28 3/8 inch barrels which have bores of .668 both right and left, and .007 of constriction in the right barrel for improved cylinder and .014 of constriction in the left for modified. Stock is staight, English grip l with great figure and dimensions of 1 1/2 X 2 7/16 X 15 over a checkered butt. Stock is cast off for the right hand shooter. Forend is a very small semi-beavertail with makes it much easier to shoot sporting clays or skeet with keeping your hands off the hot barrels. This gun has all the "bells and whistles" with cocking indicators, rolled trigger guard, bushed firing pins, articulated front trigger, and hand detachable locks. Weight of the nice upland gun is 6 pounds 9 ounces. The gun was built in 2003. Condition of the gun is excellent with the top lever far right of center, and only a few impressions in the wood. Engraving and checkering are in excellent condition. The model 217 features far more engraving than the 216 and to my eye is a much more attractive design. Price of the gun is $5700 plus $50 shipping to your FFL. Gun comes with the original and correct box. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period with buyer paying shipping charges if returned. This is a wonderful gun with a very useful configuration working for all upland game as well as for clay targets. Contact me at esetter5@me.com with any questions.

I prefer a 20 and the squared action but I wanted to add the Grulla 209 I had was every bit as good as the higher grades of Garbi and AyA.

I have to say, although I like AYA guns and I've owned many of them, I don't believe they are on par with the Grulla or the Garbi guns. It is a toss up for me between Grulla and Garbi. The Grulla guns that I've owned have had a little nicer wood on them than the Garbi guns I've owned. You don't really appreciate these guns until you pull the locks and see the workmanship on the inside!
