He posted here last week. Assume he's ok. Now where is Raimey?

Raimey,
I'm back, I may not be well, but I am learning what I can and can't do. A month and 5 days in the hospital, mostly without my Neuropathy meds, set my legs back. I'm hoping to be able to go back to a walking stick, from a walker. Are you OK? I just thought you were likely on the other side of the world either working a job or hunting.

Mike; Haven't heard from Raimey for awhile and hope he is just out touring his old haunts in Africa. The only way we could get news from you was to dangle a "Roll Tide" which seemed to get the juices flowing. Nice to know you're up and about. Neuropathy can be tough - especially the Agent Orange stuff. Keep up the fight.

I had noticed that Ford had not posted in a month, which was very odd & it took me a week or so to catch up w/ someone in the know.... I know I look forward to seeing Ford back on the board soon.....

Serbus,

COPD is nothing to mess with. My wife came down with it not long before Covid showed up. We treated it with over the counter diarrhea medicine for too long. Resulted in several days in the hospital. Interestingly enough, I had to wear a paper gown and gloves when I visited her, but no mask. But at least, unlike Covid, I was able to see her.

I appreciate the thoughts and prayers of the members here; it's humbling to know so many people care about me. I was lucky with the COPD because my cardiac doctor caught it early. I hadn't smoked a cigarette since the night my first grandson was born and he turned 30 right after I got home (he also sent an ultrasound image of our first great grandchild; even with the problems, I'm lucky).
