Very fun to watch. Thanks, Parabola. I find it quite interesting that they were using only .56 ounce (16 gr.) of 7s on those partridge. While I have done very well on doves with 1/2 oz. shot, and I know my friend KY Jon does quite well with 1/2 oz. also, I have gravitated to 3/4 oz. loads of my own making and am 100% satisfied with the results out to 35 yards, with appropriate choke.

I know a camera will fool you into thinking they were shooting at partridge farther away than they actually were, but some of those shots they took really appeared to be too far for the density to be there to take a partridge sized game bird with 1/2 oz. shot.

Thanks again!

May God bless America and those who defend her.

Proper Spaniel. Sure looked like some sporty shooting with a .410, fast birds on the wind.

I suspect that they have gone down to 16 grams to ensure the whole payload is enclosed in the wad petals (assuming they are plastic wads - or biodegradable?).

Those partridges were going like bullets on that wind, and I suspect that I would have struggled with a 12 bore although I would have loved to have been there with my .410.

Parabola,
Very entertaining to watch, thanks for sharing! Humbling to watch such great shooting in that strong wind, amazing what a .410 can do!
