Thank you sir. I’ll try to caffeinate more and keep up.

On a different forum Eley also came up. Turns out some of their old cartridge blueprints (tracings) are still around, and the include a wealth of details on bullet, case and patch dimensions for old British sporting rounds

This thinly veiled Thread sounds suspiciously like Stevie is doing even more Free Advertising here on the main DoubleGun BBS forum, instead of advertising this sporting art in the proper For Sale forum.

So not only is Stevie running continual Free Advertising of his/her business ventures in his/her tagline, but now he/she is apparently selling other items. That might not be such a bad thing if Stevie was doing the right thing, and paying Dave the customary $12.00 fee for each and every sale made as a result of this Free Advertising. But so far, Stevie brushes off any direct answer about that, and claims such a question constitutes a "meltdown".

My idea of a "meltdown" is a bit different... like having Stevie talking nice and civil here in the open forum, and then Spamming me with repeated nasty PM's filled with personal insults. Hmmmmm.... what should we conclude from such hidden anger issues and bipolar behavior??? I think it could just be a stress reaction from getting busted for Free Advertising without paying Dave what is due. Just my opinion, as always.

I collect a bit of sporting art myself. I have a really nice pen and ink drawing of several Whitetailed Deer in a setting that looks just like some areas where I hunt. Looking at it on a hot summer day instantly takes me to a cold snowy hollow in December. I have several prints of vintage double shotgun advertising. My favorite of those is the old Ithaca ad with a ringneck pheasant narrowly escaping a fox in a snowy field. One framed poster I found shortly after I became interested in Double Shotguns was this old original Bull Durham tobacco ad. It has perfect subject matter for any double gun enthusiast. Two well dressed hunters and a small boy, a dog, double shotguns, the day's bag of "game", and one pissed off bull... all in a nice serene Fall setting. As I said, my copy is an original from the 1930's, but reproductions are available. Mine is absolutely NOT for sale, so I'm not doing any Free Advertising here, unlike you know who...

And like a Bass drawn to a topwater plug, billie shows up. Understandable I suppose, after being unable to achieve your lifelong goal of becoming a Mall Cop, you have settled nicely into your self appointed role of advertisement enforcer here on the doublegun BBS. Rant on you crazy Diamond!

Ed, it appears that you pay Dave the $12.00 fee whenever you sell something that you advertise on his website.

That is being civil and respectful. Paying Dave for sales made here is done on the Honor System. That mean's he shouldn't have to play policeman and coerce people advertising business ventures and selling items to do the right thing. Nobody forces you to pay Dave when you sell your guns here. You often remind us to let you know if they saw an item here that you sell to them, so that Dave gets paid. That is also being civil and respectful.

Honor is something you either have in you... or you don't.

People who are knowingly and willfully taking advantage of Dave's good nature by doing Free Advertising without compensating him for sales made here are neither civil nor respectful. So please don't get all sensitive by reading the truth about what goes on here. If these Freeloaders or their pals ever found out that you stiffed Dave for a dollar, they would all be calling you everything but a white English gentleman for years to come, and you know it. And that makes the status quo even more disgusting.

Keith, By all means keep this poster treasure, but keep it to yourself. Your automatic and vicious assumption that anyone else here would care to see this crap is a reminder to us all that stupidity thrives. I'm amazed that Dave tolerates it. So much for moderating.
