Hi John got to the party a bit late as usual.
You might want to know that Mr. "L's" 16 gauge VH will get a little action in just about two weeks. It's not my go to gun but it gets it's fair share of the action.

Regret not being able to keep up here -- or shooting.. Been a year of losses & change.
(even missed a cut, re-blued Parker .410 for $400; and at same $, a beautiful Webley .455 to seal the luck..!)

Hi, John! I'm now at Seal Beach, CA (just inside the "OC") full time, and would be missing the NY grouse season if I weren't so busy on the CA "honeydews".... But I managed to get all my hardware out here in one piece (brought them with me across country in a Jetta with wife and two cats--what a great country; what a TRIP!).
Still read this forum every day and recommend it to people who ask doublegun questions on other forums I read.
