I just heard today that there will be a new RBL in 28 gauge. There is nothing on their website about this.

Where do I find the info: pricing, options, etc.?

Thanks Fred, I saw the video part, but, didn't view it. I thought it was the same one they've had for a year.

When did they start taking orders? I will be calling today to place mine. I love my RBL 20ga. and there is nothing sweeter than a 28ga. gun of any variety.

Here is the link -- http://www.rblshotgun.com/

They announced on 1 November. My buddy and I have recently received our 20-gauge RBLs and placed orders for 30-inch 28-gauges on the 1st.

Killed two Roosters with my 20-gauge RBL this morning. One a rather incredible shot in a heavy locust thicket where virtually any other direction that bird would have gone I'd have had no shot!?!

Researcher,
Thanks for the anouncement date. I placed my order tonight. Hopefully,I'm in the game early this time and won't have to wait another 18 months. I like my 20 gauge RBL very much and it's very affective in the field or on clay targets.
To me, a SxS is at its best in a 28 gauge. It is so aesthetically pleasing and has killing power that exceeds all expectations. This purchase was a "no brainer" for me.
Incidentally, I was at my local gun club Sunday and one of my sporting clays partners was commenting on how much knowledge he had gained from a certain "Researcher" regarding Fox doubles on their collectors website....small world.
I do like the concept of 30 inch bbls but this is trumped by my love of open chokes. From a collector's standpoint, I'm sure the 30" guns will be more desirable, but, I learned a long time ago to make my gun buying decisions based on personal preference.

I just received their PR kit and announcement...hope to have it up here shortly.

The 28 bore looks like a nice piece...with lots of options...Tony sure knows how to please the crowd!

I just received my RBL after a 20 month wait. After hearing all of the negative feedback about upgraded wood not meeting expectations, I'm glad I ordered my gun with no upgrades. It's a hunting gun to replace the high grade 16 I've been dragging through the brush after grouse. I hope to hunt with it long enough for it to show the evidence of this experience! Regarding the 28 gauge, for the life of me I can't understand the appeal of that gauge. The gun can't be made much lighter than a 20 gauge and regardless of the applause 28 gauges receive in print or on line, in the field the 28 isn't as effective as a 20, just as a 20 isn't as effective as a 12. The RBL is a real good excuse to order another gun, but I think this time I'll pass.
