KB likes socialists so much, I suggest we send him Hillary and the rest of the socialists which run the once great, now Dim Party.

As most here I enjoy lively discussions on almost any subject as it relates to the shooting sport and especially double guns. What makes it distasteful for me is when one person goes after another for some perceived transgression be it of language, religion, political party or just for the fun of one sided meaness. This time in our lives and the history of our great nation is precious and we should always seek to bring out the best in each other in our interactions. I would just encourage us to remember why we came to this campfire..

The SSBB is a good example of how things can go really wrong. It "used" to be an excellent site with alot of really good posters, you could actually learn something over there when it came to doubleguns and things associated with doubleguns.

I vote for keeping this website/forum strictly about doubleguns. There's plenty of other forums out there for discussing politics and Remington 870's.

Heck they even have Osama's cousin Obama on the ticket...

I figure if they get in office they'll Pardon all the terrorists and give them jObs.

Seems simple, this has always been the best SxS bbs without the nonsense.

Sorry guys, but you can't separate politics from guns. Ask anyone who lives in the formerly great state of California about their latest law. Among other things being left out of the current debates in the States are where the candidates stand on such issues as guns, hunting, animal rights, etc. Seems to me those issues are certainly fair game here, because they are "related material" in the gun world.

As for political issues not directly related to guns and hunting . . . I've never been in favor of censorship other than for the lewd and the obscene. If something "OT" comes up that's political but not gun-related and you don't want to discuss it . . . don't participate. If no one rises to the bait, such posts will simply wither away.

SSBBS is a great board. I post under Guns & Ammo section all the time.

Obamas ma is from KS? and dad is form Kenya, so he can't be related to Osama. If you go back far enough say to Rift Valley days (you know good ole' primate days) you will also find family ties to Osama.

Concguy has stated what so many seem to pass over or simply ignore, and that is the purpose of this forum ... the discussion of "...doubleguns, double rifles, drillings, combination guns and related material." Those are the words of Dave Weber, our host. No one was invited to participate here to discuss their personal feelings about politics, candidates, or to shout down the opinions of fellow posters with whom they disagree.
Perhaps the only OT subject should be why some people find it so difficult to follow the rules so plainly stated by their host.
I get enough of politics in daily life. Lets keep this forum a refuge from the B.S. and stay on the topic of fine guns and their role in enriching our lives.
