I Have a Nice piece of Black walnut that was given to me, The problem is, I don't know anyone with a duplicating saw. I Have a stock I want to replace but I am not a good enough wood worker to get down to where all it needs is sanding & Finishing.
I Can sand & finish just don't have the tools to get it down to that point.Thank You. Jeff Hren

Call Wenig or contack the at http://www.wenig.com . They can use you own stock as a pattern and either make you a stock that is semi inleted or one which has been fit to your gun and just needs to be sanded.

I second KY Jon's suggetion. Wenig has done several for me with my wood and I have been pleased with the results.

roughly - what kind of money for this type of procedure? I'm sure there are alot of variables so just ballpark. I have a graded fox that I was considering restocking to fit me. $$Money will be the determining factor (as usual).

Usually if made to your pattern about $200 - $250 for both pieces. If made to their pattern about $75 cheaper.
