Roy, I had my stroke 3 years ago at age 57. The recovery and learning to use body parts that don't seem to work correctly can be depressing, but the rehab pays off. Other than numbness in my left hand and a little general weakness on my left side, I'm now about as good as I ever was.
You have a lot of "friends" on this BBS you've never even met, and we're all pulling for you...Geo

I am into my 15th month of recovery from a subarachnoid brain hemmorhage(also a stroke). I am doing great but still have some issues. Never give up, keep the faith as the rest of us have.
