Think of the Miruko guns in lets say SxS includeing the MyLuck. Stright stock or pistol grip double triggers, ext or ejectors, boxlock or sidelock lots of different choke combos and under 7 #'s. I have a 28" I/C/I/M. Hand engraveing different levels for different money. This carried over some for the Charles Daly guns, more folks needing bucks out of the same gun so drop some nice. Then Browning to the scene you get PG,SNST,28"mod?full or 26"I/C mod.Later SST and a few Stright Stocks same barrels and chokes 7 to 8#'s Lots of folks tring to make bucks off the same gun so the gun owners lose.I sure would love to have Miruko tell Browning what ever country owns them now that they are bringing a nice double back to America

I have a nice Miroku Model 500 leaning in the corner of my bedroom with a hairline crack in the buttstock. Waiting to send off for a new stock. Picking up a nice BSS in a few days. I like the Browning and the Miroku SXS guns. Miroku could come out with a nice gun after all the ones they have made over the years.

Lads, I surely wish Miroku would return with nice doubles under their own name. They are no longer obscure among the cognisenti. Chops

Chop, agreed, but the branding isn't really important. Western Field, My Luck, Daly, Kawaguchiya, Winchester or Browning, a new Miroku double would be nice.

Won't happen. I talked with the Browning guys about a sxs, as did a couple other outdoor writers, back when they brought out the Cynergy. All the Miroku workmen that built sxs have retired, and they no longer have the tooling. (Note that SKB is also now out of the sxs market.) Agree it's a shame.
Friend of mine bought a SLNE, Miroku Model F, a couple years ago. Essentially a BSS Sidelock, but with extractors. Previous owner had installed thin-walls. It's sitting at the Cabela's store in Owatonna. Has been there for some time, and I'm guessing a reasonable offer would take it home.
