That's beautiful, Walt! Is that the original stocks and checkering refreshed? Gunter did the mechanics, of course, but were others involved as well?

Mike, Original wood. Gunter did all except the case coloring and re-touching the barrel engraving. The barrels had a good deposit of rust and Gunter had to do a lot of polishing. Thus the need to re-do the barrel engraving. In retrospect, the barrels on graded guns did not have
"Nitro proof steel" or what ever is says. We should have left that off.

Great job, Walt. By the way, I just had a set of non-ejector barrels fitted to an ejector L.C. Smith. Since I wanted the original ejector barrels to work as ejector barrels, I thought I would have to put up with the extractor barrels ejecting also. Not so. The talented gunsmith set up the second set of barrels so they did not cock the ejectors or trip them, I don't remember which. The extractor barrels work as they should, as extractors. Bill Murphy

I forgot to mention the chokes were marked cylinder and mod and they still are. A pretty attractive set up for upland hunting.
