Every year I say I'm not going and every year I go!! I'm not setting up this year Curtis, probably jes' wander around with an ol' Fox or a trap gun in my hand. Parking is substantially improved since the demise of Bell's and the repaving of the parking lot. Only problem is the Fairgrounds Authority can't be satisfied with having the world's largest gun show, they've gotta have a flea market, two horse shows,a goat roping and betting at the horse track. etc etc etc
Dodging lions and wasting time.....

Great Paul go ahead and tell everyone about our little secret. Next thing you know, a bunch of board members will be working the aisles and there will not be a double gun bargain in the whole place. Just kidding, my favorite event of the year here in Colorado. Come on out and join us. Steve

Anyone have any theories as to why Northeastern gun shows have declined in size and content? I went to the Penna. Gun Collectors Assn. show in Greensburg this past weekend and was really disappointed in the decline. I can remember it being 4-5 times as large. I bought a few bags of AA wads from a guy and asked if he had any primers. He said primers and powder were not allowed to be sold at the show. Now what's with that??? I did pick up a 12 ga Ithaca Flues walking around at a price too good to pass up, and also bought a nice 16 ga. Ithaca NID well under Blue Book. Wish I'd counted, but there probably weren't more than 40 doubles in the whole joint. Really, I can't figure it out, but it sure can't be due to low attendance. Arriving 20 minutes late got me in a line approx. 1/4 mile long.
A true sign of mental illness is any gun owner who would vote for an Anti-Gunner like Joe Biden.

Thanks to all. Questions: 1. SCI Dallas v. SCI Reno v. Las Vegas 2. Tulsa v. Louisville?

The big Baltimore show (actually in Timonium) is one of the better antique and vintage gun shows. I think they do not allow modern handguns in the door, but can't quite recall as it has been a few years. And just Take Me Back to Tulsa! Six miles of aisles. Wear good shoes and plan on two days. Well worth it.
