I need some help from Ithaca experts. What do I have, an original NID or Flues trap or an old restock? I believe it is refinised and supect it's a restock but have almost no knowledge of Ithaca's. I noted the forend lacks Deely style lever, most screws are not timed and pad is not Ithaca sunburst. Any help is appreciated. Serno is 184023.

NH,
Check the SN here:
http://www.doublegunshop.com/dgsnos3.htm

The table says early Floozie.

We both know that finish isn't original.

It's an early Flues, notice the frame styling compared to the Minier model. From the pics, I would say it is an early restock, probably refinished at will. Perhaps the restock was done when the Redhead pad was added. The wood to metal fit appears to be good. I can't read the watertable, what type of barrels? Might be a later factory refurbish, but nobody wants a Flues...

Not positive on this but I think if original you will find initials and/or the serial number pressed into the wood under the trigger guard...would have been removed if it was converted from full or half pistol grip. My 1909 and 1915 have the stampings...cannot recall if the 1924 does.

My 1915 is a straight gripped #2 Krupp...yours looks pretty close to same shape and checkering but the cheeks of the stock on yours seem to have very sharp transitions and perhaps a bit odd shape?

Best,
Mark

Restocked at some point. Trap configurations didn't exist in 1908/10

Speak for yourself, my favorite Ithaca is the Flues. If anyone has a grade 5 to 7E 20 gauge Flues that "nobody wants", well give me a shout.

Tim, you are 'preaching to the choir'...but everyone knows that Flues frames blow apart... and no, mine aren't for sale.
