This is a 12 ga Flues on a small frame,16 and 20 ga I presume. It has 26" bbls and a great Quail gun that I have used for several years. The frame is about 1/4" more narrow than a normal Flues. It also has a beautiful Ivory and Brass front bead. The man that ordered this in 1913 sure was a serious birdhunter. Thought everyone would enjoy the pictures.

An unusual and very interesting Ithaca that I am sure you treasure and enjoy! For what it's worth, if that front bead is the same style as other period beads of its type I have seen, and I believe it is; it is a gold-capped ivory bead and a very fine personal touch for any quality vintage double gun.

Very nice--now I see where the stars on my NID "Star Model" came from.

Stallones,
I have a very similiar Flues. I had never measured the frame width until your post prompted me to.
Sadly, mine is a project gun that has been on the back burner for several years.
The engraving on mine is very similiar. It also has damascus barrels("American Flag"). The barrels on mine are 28".
If I may ask, what does your gun weigh? Mine is 6lb 4oz including the "Starburst" pad.
What is yours choked. Mine is Cyl/Full and is marked as such.
I'll try to get some pictures up later today.
Mike

That was Marbles Ivory bead site. It looks like a typical No. 1 1/2 of that vintage. In the summer of 1915 the No. 1 1/2 got the bold floral engraving and four years later that became the No. 1. Prior to WW-I Ithaca advertised Flues models of much lighter weights then they did later.
