Have always admired double rifles but mostly out of price range. So a year ago I bought a Biakal 45-70 as I had a number of other 45-70s. It has been a fun gun and use it for deer hunting. May be someday I'll get a good one. That's if I quit by SxS shotguns.

Ian I'm there with the eyes. The gun looks like a drilling to me but, I saved the photo from a thread about bad eyes and what the owner of this gun did to remedy the situation. I have found that the British wide shallow vee rear is much better than anything with a notch or a narrow vee. I just picked up my Simson 405 double and will have to try it on the range before I make changes.
