I just checked the Winchester website about what they had in AA target loads. The price now reflected on their website is $11.16 per box of 25, or $111.00 per case. What's up with that??!!

When shot was $12 per 25 pound bag lead was $.22/pound. It has been over .80 lately. I find import shells a better value. Just purchased a couple of hundred flats of Kemen that were $5.00 for 28 & 410, and 39.50 for 12 & 20. bil;l

They have several distribution sites in the states. I have been dealing with John in Austin,TX His e-mail is masterkemen@aol.com. They are a division of UAE from Spain, Kemen is their target class ammo and Rio is the econemy stuff. Remember I purchased 200 flats! bill

Must be 'list' price. Nobody in their right mind pays more than $60/flat for AA or STS shells. Usually, they can be found cheaper though everything is on the rise. Heavy competition from the imports is helping keep things reasonable - for now.

Winchester seem to be on a mission to push up the prices of shells, here in Australia they have been bumping the prices every 2 or 3 months and there is a rumour that they are going to bump another 10 or 15 percent this month, buy the imports and force the B,turds into a corner, patriotism is one thing but gouging is another. Small gauge wads in Winchester are around $60.00 per 1000 here, thats about $US45.00. Rio make shells from basic Promo to top shelf. UEE have a very good range of components and can put together some really good product at reasonable prices, Try Dianna, Saga both use UEE components, Then there is Mirage out of Italy, T2 and T3 are very good shells.

There's something wrong with Winchester.
Their biggest distributor round here got so fed up with the poor delivery and supply (ex Italy, with non English speaking driver) he dropped them and switched to Express, an English company about 25 miles from him. He still can't understand a word the driver says...he's a "ronk" Brummie!
I used to buy the Win 2 1/2" 32gram Brit 6 for driven shooting; great cartridge. Since the above I haven't been able to get any.
