I've been reading what the far more knowledgable of you post here for a while hoping I would stumble across a answer to my want without showing my ignorance. It hasn't worked so here goes.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a maker/converter of O/U rifles that will produce a very light, short barrelled, unadorned rifle chambered in .35 Rem, and preferably made of stainless?
Yes I know that sounds crazy but the fact of the matter is that it would be a perfect carry in the tight wood of NE Florida where we hunt.
And yes I do understnd that it will COST. And when I say light I do not mean 7 pounds. I'm thinking that there has to be a way to get this done close to 6 if not a bit lighter.....maybe carbon barrels to reduce weight?
And no I am not crazy.
