I just received my insurance statement and was shocked at how high the premium had gone up. With only a small addition to my gun safe my premium has almost doubled in the last few years. I would appreciate any and all recommendations for a new provider. Thanks Justin

Justin - check out Eastern Insurance. I found them through an ad in one of the sporting publications. Very good rates Eastern I believe the NRA might also offer an insurance program
Such a long, long time to be gone, and a short time to be there.

The very first thing I'd look into is NRA lifetime memberships for you and your entire family. You can get a life membership for around $300. That gets you $5000 in gun insurance just for joining. Oh, and no recurring premium to pay. If you have a family of 4, you can get $20k in insurance for $1200 all while helping the NRA protect your freedoms. You also would get a lifetime supply of their magazines.
Correction, its $2500 in insurance per life member. Still a bargain.

My insurance is with Eastern. $35,000 of coverage for $125 yearly and only guns $10K and over need to be scheduled. I left the NRA program because it was significantly more expensive than Eastern, yes, I'm an NRA Life Member.

I've been using Collectible Insurance Agency for years with good results. The set up at the SOS Militaria Show which is held the same weekend as the Louisville Gun Show in February each year so you can speak to their rep. face to face. Jim http://www.collectinsure.com/

I use core-vens and have been very happy. I had to file a large claim due to shipping damage and they were great.

Hi all, Eastern for me also. Easy to get coverage and reasonable to boot. Very easy folks to deal with. I'm happy with them.
Good luck!!
