I have a British double with damascus barrels , 2 5/8 inch chambers, which I recased by heating it on the barbie until it was white hot, then quenched it a mixture of used transmission fluid and water. Is it safe to shoot with 3" Steel loads? There, we got Ed's BS all in one worthless post....geez

Ooopsie-- even the Old Edster ain't crazy enuf to suggest used Tranny Oil and water for the quench--he knows water and oils are not miscible-- Eddie never served in our beloved Corps- where we learn that "proper prior planning prevents piss-poor performance" But otherwise, you have "hit for the cycle" for our favorite "Flammengraffer Fubar Fella"-- The first word is german for Flamethrower- or as we called them in the 'Nam- "House warmers"!!! Semper Fi!!!

dollar: i find your posts to be inappropriate, offensive and redundant. as you obviously have a problem with my posts, why not keep it private or at least vent your anger in misfires. to do so here is inappropriate and certainly has nothing to do with double guns.

Ed,
You couldn't even go one month since your latest suspension before you started your shit yet again. You add nothing of value to this BBS. You post with the sole intention of stirring shit up over and over. Are you just that damn bored?
I for one think it is finally time for Dave to send you down the river for good. Pack your torch and go somewhere else!

Ed: I just deleted the following because I thought it could cause hurt feelings, but since you are on the attack I'm going to reprint it. The MICKEY MOUSE CHATTER you have subjected all here to denigrates this forum and this forum's good intent. I'm sick and tired of this nonsense and so is everyone else. This forum is a great place to learn and you have and are tarnishing what makes it great.

buzz: my comments to dollar and others of his ilk are certainly not attacks, but attempts to remind them of the rules of this forum as i understand them. if you want to read attacks, then there are certainly enough against me here...as for the quality of my threads, they are in my opinion, legitimate questions. sorry you disagree.

Is it my imagination, or did not Last Dollar start a thread with the express purpose of creating more of the same drivel that he and others complain about?

barrel: are you suggesting that dollar is making an attempt here to be funny? if so, he an his buddies of similar ilk have a rather bazaar sense of humor, don't you agree?

Maybe so- but the best case of that bazaar sense of humor was the late great W.C. Field's==in the movie "My Little Chickadee" with the equally great Mae West--a claasic!!

Steve, parody or no it's just picking off the scab. Starting the thread gives opportunity for more of the same.

.What does one feed them ilks anyway? I have horses and cows, can the ilk be in the same pasture with em? You might try Ed's Feed and Bullschmidt Emporium on the corner of 1st and Main for some Purina Ilk Chow. For your newborn ilk you might get some Purina Ilk Milk Replacer too.
