Go back to page one and read my replies....sir if there is an "over bearing" "SOB of the lowest order" on here you fit the bill.

The beautiful high quality wood used on most was obviously walnut that Dan Lefever threw away.

What can you say bad about a lock up design that commonly develops into a self opener.....

Only thing lacking is the LC Smith single trigger.

Myself I wouldn't own one....

Nor would I eat at a Cracker Barrel displaying one for fear of losing my meal.

American junk at it's finest....

No class....I used to post a lot of unusual guns on this forum. I really like shotguns because of the wonderful and unique designs that have been tried in the breechloading era...I worked hard to find interesting things to post here,Ive torn apart guns many times to get a photo for someone looking for help or info. I never talked down to anybody or tried to make anybody look foolish. I pretty much quit posting because of HoJo and his rude behavior, I know several other people who hesitate to post their guns because of him as well. How much info has been lost because of one rude person? I dont even read the forum much anymore because I get so irritated by him. I have acquired some unusual guns that I doubt many here have even seen before. I used to really enjoy showing them because I knew they were appreciated here. This forum is hurt by his presence. He is tolerated by some like some "crazy uncle" and seen as an obnoxious pest....stop feeding the pest, call him out when he should be called out. Dont allow him to get away with insulting new posters or old posters...

Awww shucks, Joey-boy- I thought I fit that category- and now I see you have maybe moved me down a notch or two in favor of the gentleman from the Lone Star State-and their foremost musically gifted hombres: Townes Van Zandt, Waylon Jennings, and of course, the Red-Haired Stranger, ol' Willie himself. If i really thought about it long enough, I might get 'hurt feelins", but as Foxes are almost always "on the run' we don't usually stop to :"Wink, Blink or even Think" as we navigate the slippery slopes of life in the fastest lane--RWTF

A "young friend"- hummmm- don't tell me you are going down the olde Geoffrey Dahlmer- John Wayne Gacy route now Joey. Bad route to take-- best route is befriend older guys whom have accumulated wisdom from the high tuitioned school of hard knocks, or if Rusty Warren were posting here, hard knockers!!

Good gun- good deal- All 12 gauge Elsies (except some of the later hammerless LONGRANGE 3" GUNS, HAD STD. 2& 3/4" CHAMBERS. I would ask to have the locks removed by the seller, so you can check the inletting and tangs of the stock head before buying. Royal steel is nickel ordnance steel, same as Armor steel used on the comparable hammerless field grade (F) on this gun means Field grade, but of course, an outside hammer gun. Great shooters and priced waaay below other American hammer guns with Nitro proofed barrels-IMO anyway
