I grew up shooting O/U for competition shooting, but switched to S x S a few years ago as game gun. I truly believe S x S point better in a woods and I shoot them better than O/U with dense background now, but they took some getting used to. I think O/U are easier to shoot with a mounted gun, esp if one knows where the target is going, such as with skeet, than SxS. For precision shooting, I think the O/U is superior, but for me not near as much fun to shoot as SxS. I use a Browning superposed for my rain gun, but on nice days I hunt with SxS now.

If Dig felt dirty shooting an O/U, imagine how badly I needed to shower after shooting better with a semiauto than I ever did with a SxS.
