A Beretta Model 410 is an excellent gun if you can find one.

I have an older Beretta 10 Ga 3 1/2 with single trigger and I saw one not long ago with double triggers. I believe the brls are chrome lined. I use it for snow geese with steel shot. Should be able to find one under $2000

Be wary of Spanish imports of lesser quality. They had a reputation for having "soft steel". Some did not hold up in constant use. Heavy triggers, doubling and ejection issues develop if they get off face.
I had one that did not like to open after about 10 shots in the blind. It was a "Pride of Spain". I sent it off down the road but not before warning the buyer of its shortcomings.
With your budget you should be able to find a Beretta if you look hard enough. I replaced the Pride of Spain with a Stoeger imported "Zephyr Heavy Goose" made by made by Victor Sarasqueta for Stoeger in the 50's. It is a true sideock of decent quality with a lot of not so high quality engraving.

Ditto on the Beretta 10 magnum. In good condition they command only $1500. I know because I sold one this past year.

Should be able to find an AYA for a thousand or less. The case colored AYA is the nicest, but the blued Matador is acceptable. I just sold my case colored AYA unfortunately.

DON'T get a Matador or other Spanish 10 with a single trigger. I had the misfortune of being in a blind with a guy that had one of those double on him with 3 1/2" magnum shells. Pretty much put him out of commission for a while, mainly because he flinched even LOOKING at that gun. Fortunately most of them have double triggers. But with $2K for your budget there's no reason to buy Spanish unless it's a high grade gun that you get to fire before buying and learn to TRUST.

I would strongly recommend the AYA 10's. Have owned 3 over the years and currently have one that I sent to Briley and had shortened to 28" and steel compatible choke tubes installed. It handles very well, weighs 9 lbs, and has digested a couple thousand relatively horrible heavy steel loads and is tight as a drum, top lever right of center. It comes with 32" barrels Full & Full but I wanted a more all round gun that would handle quicker for decoying geese or pass shooting. It has stood up very well.
Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought stupid, than open it and confirm.
