Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried such sights on competition guns, and see no benefit to them at all. They are not a deterrent to me, but I'm pretty set in my ways and don't look at the muzzle anyway.
Jackson, at 10 years old, is pretty impressionable though. My concern was that at his young age he might be distracted by it and look at it.

Thanks, James. I had decided to wait until the gun came to order the bead(s). There was a delay in them shipping the gun. They misplaced the FFL fax I had sent to them and we had to do it all over again.

I've had a Raybar on one BSS for decades...off and on. It would sometimes get tossed off.
I don't have a particular aversion to them on modern guns. But I'd not install one again either.

There is something very, very special in all this for me. I am reliving the relationship I had with my paternal grandfather by playing his part with Jackson. I was blessed with a grandfather that spent a lot of time with me in the field and on the water and, knowing how important that was to me, I intend to do the same with Jackson and his younger brother, Lane.
Funny, it seems like just yesterday that I was lying in bed the night before opening day anxiously awaiting that magical time with the men before going to the bird field, and shooting doves with them. Heck, I still feel that same excitement after 52 seasons. I was greatly blessed as a boy, and more so as a grandad. May the circle be unbroken.
Forgive me for waxing nostalgic. Memories are just so special, and helping to make them for Jackson is so important to me.
