Yes, Fukert was Austrian and it's a self cocking hammer gun, with a safety. The "crown locks" are a good hint that his design was used. On most of the early Fukert guns the patent notifications of several countries were prominently on the barrels. High quality work and sometimes seen in drilling form, which is a real "coocoo" [sp?] clock of a design.
Later several other makers used the design and in the last decade or so a series of crown lock [Fukert design] double rifles were offered for sale, more than once, at a prominent British auction. These were intensley engraved and priced in low 5 figure estimates per each. Cool guns. Not many selfcocking hammerguns out there, albiet the hammers are rather vestidual . Here's a catalog cut.
