Hi all, well I got another hammergun. She's a Joseph Harkom & Sons I think the price is a good one. The gun has been reproofed for 2 3/4" and the bbls have been reblackened, other than that, no issues or problems. Very nice early hammer gun! Congratulations! The gun appears to be fairly early, have the barrels been sleeved or replaced?

Hi Joe and thanks, according to seller the bbls have not been sleeved, but reblackened. I don't see and address on the rib, so it may have been rebarreled long ago. Will find out soon.

This listing is a major turn off for me:
Seller Quote:
"I must ship to a FFL"
This gun is at the very least a C&R gun and possibly in the antique category.
Why the hell does someone who supposedly in the business and knowledgeable insists on shipping to a FFL** and incurring an unnecessary(transfer) expense for the buyer?
I hate to dump on your new purchase here but when are we going to develop some backbone as collectors on this subject and stand up for what is right?
** If by FFL he means a FFL C&R holder I'll retract my remarks. However there is NO indication that's the case in his listing.
