A friend contacted me with a request for any info on an old shotgun a customer brought him. He has sent me photos, and I need someone who I can send the photos to who can kindly post them here. The gun, he tells me has no markings other that "Patent Applied for" somewhere on the action, so I assume it is US made. No other proofs. It is in rather rough condition, from the photos, but I bet someone out there can identify it's maker.

Dennis, I have been unable to get Photobucket to work for me today, so maybe someone else could help.

Finally got a couple to upload. The gun seems to be a Forehand design, made by Hopkins and Allen after Forehand, ca. 1900. These guns are seen with several vendor names. Dennis' gun is marked Blake. Here's the last one.

Now on to what it is. I believe it is one of Torkelson's guns --
