Mark Beasland is teaching a damascus barrel finishing class July 8-12 at Trinidad State Junior College in Trinidad, CO. I have taken Mark's class and he covers it all on damascus finishing.
You can find information on Trinidad State Junior College's site under NRA classes. The NRA co-sponsors these classes.

Thanks for the heads-up. I wish I could attend. So many good things to do & so little vacation. I hope they are still running these classes when I retire.

Mark's class is great. It is important to make sure your barrels don't leak any bubbles in boiling water. Much more "harmonious outcome" MKII

That would be a nice class. I just started rust bluing rifle parts and starting to get the hang of it. Damascus would be great to learn.
