It is irrelevant as to the barrel composition, as they all had to pass proof. I own Husqvarna M51 . The serial number dates it to 1947. I regularly shoot Fiocchi Golden Pheasant Loads with it. Any idea where I can find another steel buttplate for a 51, my second one has a plastic one and I'd like them to match? After the first shot the rest are just noise.
