Has anyone besides me had an old set of barrels lined, breach to muzzle, by Teague Chokes? The results were excellent on the old Damascus Lefever barrels I had relined because the bores were badly pitted and the barrel walls were thin. Except for the Birmingham proof marks added after Teague did the job, the results were totally invisible. You could not tell that the barrels were not original Lefever barrels in perfect condition. I would be interested in knowing others' experiences. How were the results in your case? Rich

Dr. Bill Hanbidge on New Bern, N.C. is now the USA rep. for Teague. You'll usually find him easily on the LC Smith board. Ken

Richard, would you feel comfortable posting the cost per barrel?

Jerry: A recent post on the LCSCA Forum said about $2,500 U.S. for a double barrel SxS, when shipping and paperwork costs are included http://www.teaguechokes.co.uk.

I've never had it done, but I find it incredible that they are able to do it...

If a set of barrels is perforated from one barrel to the other, I assume something has to be done to strengthen the perforated areas before the Teague liners can be installed. Will Bill tell me what has to be done and who does it?

The price paid to Teague for my job was about $2,000, but factoring in everything including shipping both ways, as best I can recall, it all added up closer to $2,500. Rich
