In the 1990's and into the early 2000's I was fortunate to be involved with Russ Ruppel, Oscar Gaddy and Art Mckee, among others and as a result, we exchanged several "project guns". As a result of my downsizing my collection (I have helped far to many widows to liquidate their spouse's collections to put my own wife in that position) and I thought that some here my be interested in them and felt it to be prudent to see if any members would like the first opportunities at them (we met on this BBS and exchanged many concepts and designs over the years, not to mention great friendships and mentoring) Dave, I will make sure you are correctly compensated if any sales are made.

I Would also like to thank all the members here for the knowledge, views, and some damn fine arguments that have taken place over the last 20 odd years. I've made some
truly great friendships and have benefited greatly from all the information and ideas shared.

I would also like your list if you could kindly email it to me. Russ and I were very close. I sure miss him like many others on this board.

As one from central Illinois who visited Russ's basement many times down around St. Louis and spent my free time learning about Parkers, barrel browning and color case hardening from Oscar in Urbana- I would very much appreciate the opportunity to be considered when you begin decreasing your pets! Any firearms that I could tie to my mentors would be treasured.
best regards,
JBP

I need another project like I need another hole in my head. But, I want to thank you for letting the folks here, good, bad, or/and ugly, have first crack at the Klunk's leftovers. He was a heck of a guy, and sorely missed around this board. If, per chance, there are any Darne parts left in the stash (Klunk told me he dropped the breech of one in a lake, wonder what happened to the rest of it?) I'd appreciate hearing about them.

Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Best,
Ted
