those double trigger 23's are kind of rare, but I shot a bunch of steel out of one (years ago) with the chokes opened to skeet 2 and mod....I wouldn't shoot steel out of anything tighter than a mod choke....especially in a double.....

P.S. - I was talking only about the Japanese Miroku made BSS with steel shot. I seem to recall that Browning made an upgraded BSS that may have been made in Belgium. I do not know the type of steel used in that gun.

Browning made the Boxlock BSS in Japan in a grade I and grade II, in 12 & 20 ga. They also made the BSS Sidelock in Japan in 12 & 20 ga.
