I wonder how desirable the following guns are in the USA:
Browning A5 semi auto (restricted to 3-shot or unrestricted) Browning 2-shot semi auto 12-bore Weley & Scott .410 bolt-action single Greener GP martini-action single 12-bore
I'm wondering on desirability and value because I'm thinking of bringing some over in the Winter.

Dig the A5 would be the most desirable. I've never seen a B 2-shot here. .410 bolts are a dime a dozen. Some Martini collectors would want a shotgun but I don't see much other market for it. Did the shipment go out?

I'm guessing the 2-shot semi is a Browning Double Auto. Pretty desirable amongst the classic auto set.

The 'Double Automatic' which was available in several receiver color variations should be quite collectible. I would take 'Twelvette' in Royal Blue, Sir. Ok, Maroon Red would also be fine.

The Scott 410 would not have a lot of value here. However, almost any sxs 410 in decent condition commands a respectable price.
If the Brownings are Belgian made, they will bring a bit more with the collectors.
The Greener will depend on condition. If it is in decent shape, a lot of people would pick it up as a project gun for conversion.
If you can get hold of Greener Martini actions, they would be worthwhile.

Dig, I have to agree. If you still have that Wm Lee I will be interested! Will you be able to make the Vintagers? Where will you be this winter? I owe you a drink or three!

In the Auto-5, there are a few very marketable guns, particularly 16 ga guns, or other gauges if they are in high original condition or grades 2 and above.
For well used guns or standard grade 12 ga guns.......were awash in them at $300.

Jeff is right; DelMarVa and particularly the upper Chesapeake IS awash with dead men's A5s. The Sweet 16s bring good money.

Jot down my PM information and/or email addy and let me know about the Greener Martinis you bring in. I am interested in one or two, assuming they are the take-down models. I have a C & R license.

Dig:
You wouldn't happen to have a Farquaharson action laying around would you? Or a Westley Richards '81 or '97?
I don't see much of a market for single shot shotguns over here. They are pretty much looked on as inexpensive utilitarian items. Perhaps as pristine collectors items they might have a market, but as shooters they won't bring much.
I really don't have any feel for the auto market, but I have always thought it would be cool to have a Browning Double Auto.
Best,
Glenn
