Good afternoon gentlemen:

A few months had been passed since my last active posting in this forum, but belive me that I read you almost every day.

I will apreciate your opinions about how compares the Armusa brand shotshells with other brands of Spanish and European shotshells, specifically, Rio, Excopesa, GB and Eley.
Price Vs performance is important as well as overall quality of that brand compared to the others.

Here in Mexico we can buy to the later brands and I want to understand why Armusa is not present.

As always, thank you for all your replies.

Best regards,

Jose

Jose: ARMUSA ceased operations in the US last fall.
Here is a recent, and favorable, thread about Rio shells http://doublegunshop.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=40713&page=7#Post40713
The Eley website has also been down since last fall, and Eley appears to be focusing on .22 ammo http://www.eleyshotshells.com/

IF you can buy the ARMUSA in your locale, you will like them. Lots of variety in pressures, shell length, loadings, wads, velocity, etc. They work very well, but do tend to leave your barrel(s) rather dirty. Purely cosmetic in a double, but may necessitate more frequent cleaning in a gas auto. I have no direct experience with the other brands mentioned, unless the "GB" refers to GameBore. GameBores work just fine but are usually much more expensive than the ARMUSA. ARMUSA uses Cheddite hulls, so should be very reloadable.
