Yup, the bottom of the receiver may add some information. Various grades of 32 above standard grade were identified by the stampings like 32TC, 32F, etc. Mid grade engraved guns below grade F are rare and not often pictured in catalogs, if ever. Consequently, even serious collectors have a hard time identifying factory D and E Grade Model 32s when they see them. If your gun has a designation on the receiver bottom like 32D or 32E, it is time for further study. If not, it is most likely an aftermarket engraving job.
